Birth Doula Training

A family is preparing to welcome their baby. They’ve got their hospital bag packed, they’ve read the books, they’ve picked the car seat. But when labor begins, the emotions rush in, excitement, fear, uncertainty, and hope all mixed together. This is where a doula steps in. A doula is not there to take over or to make decisions for the family. Instead, we walk beside them. We hold a hand through a contraction. We remind them of their breathing when things get intense. We suggest positions that make labor more manageable. We whisper encouragement when doubts creep in. We also help partners feel confident; they don’t have to know it all, because we’re there to guide them too.

At its heart, a doula’s role is about helping families feel supported, capable, and not alone in one of the most powerful moments of their lives.

Start your journey here

But it is about much more than this. It is the support through pregnancy such as when there is a question about some lab work. It's the support at the end of pregnancy when a client feels like they are never going to go into labor and they can't reach their feet to put on shoes and you have to talk them off the cliff. It's the long labors and the ones that are so fast that no one has a chance to even wrap their heads around the fact there is a baby coming, NOW.

Learn the skills that change birth

Why Families Need YOU

Modern birth settings can feel clinical, rushed, and full of decisions families may not be prepared to navigate. Nurses change shifts, providers have multiple patients, and partners often feel overwhelmed. What families need is someone who stays by their side start to finish.

Research shows that families supported by doulas experience:

  • Shorter labors

  • Fewer interventions and cesareans

  • Greater satisfaction with their birth

  • Stronger bonds with their babies and partners

This is the work you were made for.

Becoming a doula isn’t just about learning techniques, it’s about stepping into a calling where your presence, alone, truly changes lives.

When you join this training, you’re not just checking off boxes. You’re saying yes to walking alongside families in one of the most powerful seasons of their lives. And we’ll give you everything you need to do it with confidence and heart.

Here’s what you’ll get to dive into:

  • The stages and phases of labor and birth
So you can guide families through the unknown with calm reassurance.

  • Hands-on comfort measures (massage, positioning, counterpressure, and more)
Because your guidance can turn fear into relief and pain into progress.

  • Emotional support and creating a postive birthing environment
You’ll learn how to be that steady, grounding presence every family needs.

  • Partner involvement and empowerment
You’ll help partners step into their role with pride, creating lasting family bonds.

  • Supporting through variations, complications, and interventions
Because families deserve to feel safe and supported no matter how their story unfolds.

  • Advocacy and communication with medical teams
So you can amplify the family’s voice and ensure they’re truly heard.

  • Prenatal preparation and postpartum follow-up
Your care won’t end at the birth, you’ll be their trusted guide from pregnancy through recovery.

  • Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
Because every family deserves dignity, respect, and support.

  • Business development and marketing strategies
So your passion becomes a thriving, sustainable practice.

And this is just the beginning. Imagine  the difference you’ll make. Starting now.
